  Hi Brett. Just want to let you know ur music and the passion u have to sing and write inspired and healed my heart after I lost my husband to cancer. I heard your song go on with out me and it hit my heart string cause it was felt through your spirit. Dont know but after that I began creating a painting. Had not painted since high school. Your spirit really helped me get back to that creative space I lost. I painted u and edgar looking at fotos of both from my phone. It was a challenge but from that I created both images. I focused on both your eyes because they are the windows of the soul. I gave that painting to ur tour manager then in 2018. At hamnerstein hall in nyc. It was ur last long way tour. My question is. Did u ever receive it. Would make me so happy if u did. I signed it serious chic 2018. Anyway wanted to thank you 4 giving me that light of light through your voice and music. Now that you have re-centered yourself and we have experienced a pandemic, do you see yourself playing large shows again or do you think you'll do more intimate shows like those at the Fox Theatre/The Pageant/Off Broadway in the future? I know you said you hardly drink at all anymore and you're a little squeamish when it comes to tequila, so what are some of your favorite bourbons? My sincere condolences for the death of your aunt. Death is never easy to deal with and you and your family are in my thoughts.My daughter, Eva (9yrs old) is wondering when she will ever get her hug. She has been waiting since the last night of the Glow concert in Nashville in 2018. You might not remember but she yelled out "She needed a hug" during the show. We did come down after the show and Greg told us you were busy with family. Now she is really needing that hug and she says you need a hug from her to help with your grieving from your aunt. Anyway, I found your music because of an article in Cosmo, once I found out I liked you voice I started following you on social media. Okay, in all honesty I fell in love with your voice. It's warm and smooth just like a good whiskey. As I kept up with you, I found out you are a genuinely good man. You treat your family right, you take good care of Edgar, you are there for your friends, you donate time and money to children's organizations...the list goes on and ALL of them are qualities I like in people.
